Complete Process of Charcoal Briquette Extrusion.

New starters in barbecue charcoal and machine-made charcoal processing often ask how ordinary charcoal raw materials and wood scraps are processed into dense, firm and long-burning solid charcoal sticks.

1. Brief Introduction to Charcoal Briquette Machine

2. Standard Operating Procedures

Improper wiring, preheating and operation sequence usually lead to operational faults. Please follow the standard steps below.

2.1 Wiring and Power Check

This high-power industrial forming equipment requires three-phase power supply. Single-phase household power cannot support normal operation.
Complete wiring in standard specifications. Check circuit firmness and insulation to avoid electric leakage, tripping and motor failure.

2.2 Start Preheating and Adjust Forming Temperature

Do not feed materials immediately after wiring. Set the temperature controller on the power cabinet to around 300°C.
This is the standard temperature. Fine adjustment is allowed according to material type, moisture content and texture.
Preheating warms up the forming barrel and machine head. It softens raw materials quickly, so as to produce compact charcoal sticks without cracks or looseness.

2.3 Test Operation and Verify Rotation Direction

Test the machine during preheating. Press the forward rotation button and check the indicator light.
Confirm the screw propeller inside the feeding hopper runs in the correct feeding direction. Reverse rotation will cause material blockage, machine jamming and even damage to propeller and motor. This step is essential.

2.4 Constant-temperature Feeding & High-pressure Extrusion

Start feeding materials slowly and evenly when temperature and operation stay stable. Excessive feeding at one time will cause blockage.
Raw materials are pushed forward by the screw propeller. Under high temperature and high pressure inside the forming barrel, materials are fully compressed and shaped.
Uniform solid charcoal sticks are continuously extruded from the outlet.
